French Toast with Strawberry Topping

Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Bread slices
3/4 cup strawberries
4 Eggs
1 1/2 cup milk (I prefer soy with a vanilla flavor)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. finely grated orange zest
1 tbsp. honey
3 tbsp. butter, melted
In a blender combined the strawberries, 1 tbsp. honey and puree. Let it sit. In a bowl whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, orange zest, butter and honey until well blended. Pour the egg mixture over the bread slices coating them evenly. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and slice of butter or olive oil. Cook the bread until golden brown on both sides. Drizzled with the strawberry syrup. Enjoy!!!
Looks delicious! I love that you used whole wheat bread.
