Easy Beignet Balls

What a great way to start the next morning after Thanksgiving with some warm powder beignets. I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving with their friends and family. Here is some Beignet Balls for you to enjoy after that Thanksgiving feast!!!

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Water
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
4 Eggs
Sunflower Oil
Powder Sugar

Place the butter in a saucepan with the water. Turn on the heat medium high. Wait until it boils and add the mix ingredients: Flour, salt, & baking powder. Turn off heat and remove pan from heat. Stir until a sticky batter is formed. Place batter on medium high heat for 5 minutes to dry out dough. Let batter cool completely. You can use a mixer with a dough hook at this time or you can beat it by hand. Beat eggs, one at a time until batter is smooth.

Heat oil on medium high heat. Mound teaspoons of the dough and drop into the hot oil. Cook until the beignets are brown. Dust with powder sugar and eat hot with a cup of hot coffee or cocoa.
