Whole Wheat Strawberry Muffins

Just look at that strawberry....Such a bright red shiny fruit packed with inimitable flavor. Just a bite comes this explosion of sweet, juicy red fleshy pieces of fruit packed with healthy nutrients that are so uncontrollable you can't sustain yourself . That is why I can't say a word when it comes to these muffins. These muffins will fill your kitchen with a sweet and fruity aroma that you will not be able to resist. Very easy muffins to make and everyone will be pleased with these fruity and moist muffin treats. Makes 12 muffins. ENJOY :-)

First Step:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
1/2 Cup Butter, softened
1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt
2 Large Eggs
Mixing Bowl
With a hand held mixer blend the butter, yogurt, and eggs. set aside


Second Step:
2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 teaspoon baking powder ( I used cream of tartar and baking soda)*
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mixing Bowl
*Measurements for Baking Powder:
Baking powder (1 teaspoon) = 1/4 teaspoon baking soda + 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

In a separate bowl sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside


Third Step:
1 Cup Honey
1 1/2 Cup diced Strawberries
Mix the Strawberries and Honey in a separate bowl....Oooooo that looks so good, I can eat just that right Now!!!!

Fourth Step:
Mix the butter, yogurt, and eggs mixture into the flour mixture. Don't worry you did not mess it up, it's suppose to look that way just look at mine.

It should look like the picture below after you mixed in the eggs, butter and yogurt.


Fifth Step:
Now its time to Fold in the strawberries, honey and their juices.

You should have a smooth batter once you finish folding in the strawberries & Honey


Sixth Step:
Pour the batter into the muffin cups. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated 375 degree oven. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.


Seventh Step:
Time to eat these little muffins up.....So Good...i think i am in Strawberry Heaven :)!!!



Eighth Step:
Eat Another Muffin!!!

  1. Those muffins look so good! One cup of honey is a lot, but since there's no sugar, maybe it's not that much.

  2. Trust me on the 1 cup of honey...it enhances the flavor of the strawberries. I thought that it was to much too, but once i started eating them I could not stop!!!
